I recently had to choose between improving my command in a new language, and continue reading a book I had started two weeks before.
How to decide?
I like learning more than I like reading.
But I thought.
“What can I finish first?”
You got it. A book has an end, while learning a new language has not.
Learning, in itself, is an ever-evolving process whereas reading has a beginning and a termination point.
If you ever struggle to decide between two tasks, pick the one you can achieve quickly.
