Then, afterwards, send an email that says you’re done and attach your results if needed.

 

It’s extremely satisfying and useful to have acknowledgments, especially in business and person-to-person interactions.

 

It shows that you’ve well received the information, and that you’re aware of what you’ve got to do.

 

That’s why so many mobile apps have the “read” badge.
